Articles in Technometrics, ASME Transactions on Manufacturing Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, IIE Transactions on Quality and Reliability Engineering, Journal of Quality Technology, and Information Science, etc. Research is on data fusion methodology development, with the emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach by integrating applied statistics, signal processing, reliability engineering, system control, and decision-making theory. Research is widely supported by NSF, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. DOT, SME foundation, and industrial partners from GM, FORD, OGT, GSE, etc.; and is applied to assembly, stamping, forging, rolling, and solar cell manufacturing processes; and transportation, robots, healthcare, and mobile commerce, etc.

Position Statement
I feel it is a great honor to be nominated as a candidate to run for a second term for the position of INFORMS Vice President, International Activities. If I am elected, I will keep working closely with the International Activities Committee (IAC) to serve the interests of societies, subdivisions, international chapters, etc. and to provide the coordination help for their international activities in connection with INFORMS, to obtain the INFORMS board support for increasing the international visibility of INFORMS and individual organizations, and make high priorities in increasing awareness among new international organization, members, and students about the potential opportunities in INFORMS.
