The 4th. International Workshop on Approximation Algorithms for
Combinatorial Optimization Problems - APPROX'2001 - and the 5th.
International Workshop on Randomization and Approximation Techniques
in Computer Science -RANDOM'2001- will colocate at the Computer
Science Department of the University of California , Berkeley on
August 18-20, 2001. APPROX'2001 focuses on algorithmic and
complexity aspects arising in the development of efficient
approximate solutions to computationally difficult problems, while
RANDOM'2001 focuses on applications of randomness to computational
and combinatorial problems. RANDOM'2001 is the fifth workshop in the
series after Bologna, Barcelona, Berkeley and Geneva; APPROX'2001 is
the fourth in the series after Aalborg, Berkeley and Saarbruecken. |
