The UK boasts a strong community of practitioners and researchers in simulation modelling. THis has been evident in the attendance at recent meetings of the OR Society Simulation Study Group. As a result, it has been decided to hold a two-day workshop on simulation modelling. The purpose of the workshop is to enable an exchange of ideas on the current, and future, state-of-the-are in simulation modelling, with a particular focus on discrete-event simulation. |
