Well-Posedness in Optimization and Related Topics

The general field of the workshop is well-posedness, stability
and sensitivity, including numerical stability, of models in variational
analysis, with special emphasis on applications to modeling and numerical
analysis. Some of the main topics of the conference will include:
-- well-posedness of optimization models and problems in calculus of
variations, optimal control and mathematical programming,
-- Hadamard and Tikhonov concepts of well-posedness,
-- topological aspects and genericity of well-posedness,
with applications to special classes of optimization problems,
-- critical point theory,
-- well-posedness of vector optimization problems,
-- game theory and equilibrium problems,
-- regularization techniques for ill-posed problems,
-- conditioning of numerical optimization
methods and their stable behavior under perturbations.
