A team of INFORMS volunteers met recently to vet, re-write (and in some cases accept) over 200 questions provided by another team of INFORMS volunteers that will comprise the industry's first analytics certification. Analytics certification will be offered for the first time at the 2013 INFORMS Conference on Business Analytics and Operations Research, April 7-9 in San Antonio, Texas. We are carefully crossing all the t's and dotting all the i's. This certification is sure to set the standard for rigor in the analytics field.
