The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) is interested in determining the general interest of authors to undertake original research, containing strong empirical economic analysis using aggregate or firm-level trade data, which focuses on the NAFTA in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Specific areas of interest to the USITC might include Growth, Trade, and Productivity; FDI and Supply Chains; Wages, Employment, and Immigration; Trade Facilitation and Non-Tariff Measures; and Model Validation.
USITC is interested in research that would disentangle and isolate the economic effects due to NAFTA from the many other changes that have occurred since NAFTA's implementation in 1994. Respond with any information you are willing to provide to the USITC, including costs that would be expected, for this type of research by contacting Victoria Giordano, Intern, Office of Economics, U.S. International Trade Commission, 202-205-3331, or Justino De La Cruz, Ph.
