Early- to mid-career practice members will want to consider becoming a Certified Analytics Professional. INFORMS saw the market need and is preparing the first general exam-based analytics certification. The certification exam will be offered at the 2013 INFORMS Conference on Business Analytics and Operations Research, April 7-9, San Antonio, Texas. INFORMS Marketing Strategy Committee wishes to thank the over 1,800 members who completed the 2012 Member Survey. Response rate of nearly 20% is outstanding. The committee will analyze results and report to the Board of Directors and other constituencies in late July. Ten respondents will each win a Kindle Fire, the new e-book reader from Amazon. Watch this space for a listing of the winners' names. Soon, a tabulation of the question-by-question results along with Presentation Slides will be made available in the INFORMS Self Service Center so you can gauge the health of your Institute. The 2009 member survey results reside there now.
