Spreadsheet Guru Contest
SPRIGWorld is excited to announce the first annual Spreadsheet Guru contest, with the preliminary round to be held Saturday, March 31, via ftp and DropBox, and the finals to be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012, in conjunction with the 2012 Analytics Conference in Huntington Beach, CA, and via the Web. Contestants will all receive a problem statement at the same time and will be judged on clarity of solution and on solving speed. The winner will be announced shortly after the end of the contest and will be expected to speak the next day during the Selects track, explaining the solution process and walking everyone through the spreadsheet.

Prize money will be paid out from the entry fees, with prizes awarded to the top three finishers and other prizes at the judges' discretion.

Entry fees: $25 for non-SPRIG members (includes complimentary membership in SPRIG for the rest of 2012) and $15 for SPRIG members.
