Interfaces joins Organization Science as our two 2012 journals in full-text. Readers now have more flexibility when accessing their 2012 journal articles. From the full-text XML article and its HTML view, readers can more easily navigate articles, view and resize figures, tables, and images, access supplementary content, and find related research data.
Service Science Is Under Construction
The new INFORMS publication site for Service Science is on schedule for its first issue in March. In the meantime the new submission system is up and running. Go to Service Science website to learn more about the journal and its resources and for information on submitting a paper to the journal. The first issue of INFORMS publication of Service Science is scheduled to be released March 23, 2012.

The competition for the 2012 INFORMS Impact Prize is now open. The Impact Prize is given to individuals or groups of scholars who had a broad impact on our field, either theoretically or in practice. The Impact Prize committee is accepting nominations in a two-phase submission process. For the first phase, applicants are asked to submit a brief (500-800 words) nomination identifying the potential recipient(s) along with a brief summary of their contribution and its impact. The deadline is April 30. For information, visit here.
The Anna Valicek Award recognizes original and innovative student research in the application of O.R. to airline and/or airline-related business problems. This annual award is sponsored by AGIFORS (the Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies) and honors the late Anna Valicek. The deadline for submission is May 31, 2012. Applicants must be registered graduate students pursuing either a master's or doctoral degree.
