Bala Shetty Says Community List Servs Are Great, but Don't Forget About INFORMS Job Placement Service (JPS)

"We are pleased to see much traffic through our Community list servs related to various job postings. Ability to post job ads gratis is a valuable service provided by INFORMS to its members. As chair of INFORMS Job Placement Service Committee, I do, however, wish to ask the list serv moderators to encourage their members to also use INFORMS Job Placement Service to post their ads for a nominal fee. In addition, the moderators could help us by including a JPS banner ad on their sites as a service to INFORMS.

"JPS ads reach a broader audience and are available for an extended period for JPS users. The revenue generated by JPS is critical for us to continue to provide the placement service to INFORMS members, especially in the challenging resource climate we are currently experiencing.
