Meeting Registration and Membership Renewal
INFORMS members can register for the meeting and renew their 2013 membership dues at the same time, either online or by phone.
Online: Click here to go to the meeting registration page and once registered, click on the "Continue Shopping" button to go to the Self-Service Menu. Then click on the menu item for "Renew or Add Items." You will be provided with the option to renew "as is" or to make changes to your membership options. All items will appear in your shopping cart.

Guest & Plant Tours - Space Available, Register Now
Guest Tours: Explore the Grand Canyon, Sedona, the Sonoran Desert, the Musical Instrument Museum, and more. For more information and to sign up for tours, click here or call Southwest Discovery Tours directly at 800-544-0857. There will be a downtown Phoenix walking tour on Sunday, October 14, 8:00-10:30am. Meet at the Hyatt Regency for a 75-minute walk around downtown guided by one of Phoenix's Downtown Ambassadors. Plant Tours: Two plant tours are scheduled: the Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Simulation Centers on Monday, October 15, 9:00am-12:00pm, and the Santan Generating Station on Tuesday, October 16, 9:00am-12:15pm. Click here for details on both tours. To add a tour, call 800-446-3676, ext. 591.

INFORMS TV - Another New Feature
Tune in to INFORMS TV during the meeting to catch the latest conference highlights, enjoy "behind the scenes" interviews with meeting speakers and INFORMS leaders, and hear reactions and interviews with attendees like you. Each day's broadcast will combine coverage of conference events with "thought leadership" segments that feature eight different organizations. The overall goal of INFORMS TV is to raise the visibility of best practices in OR/MS, as well as to highlight collaborations between diverse institutions including research institutions, universities, and private sector organizations.

Special Joint INFORMS-SMDM Program, Wednesday, October 17
This joint program is open to all INFORMS Annual Meeting and Society of Medical Decision Making (SMDM) Annual Meeting attendees at no additional charge. The SMDM Annual Meeting follows, October 17-20 at the Hyatt. Four special joint sessions and the SMDM Plenary What Pilots and the Airline Industry Can Teach Clinicians and Hospitals About Patient Safety take place on Wednesday afternoon. New Member Welcome & Annual Meeting Orientation Session
All new members and first-time meeting attendees are invited to attend this session on Sunday, 4:30-5:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom C. The session will feature a brief presentation from key INFORMS leaders on member benefits including communities, a thorough orientation to navigating the meeting from Annual Meeting veterans, and time for networking.

Tuesday General Reception: Get Your Kicks on Route 66
Travel along the famous road at this festive reception! Teepee putting, tequila bowling, tomahawk tosses, and beach ball basketball are just some of the fun activities planned. The Rave, a classic rock band, will entertain with a broad spectrum of musical styles. A hearty menu features St. Louis style ribs, Arizona vegetarian fajitas, and more.
