The Committee has invited a truly international group of plenary speakers: Yuzhuo Zhang, President and CEO of Shenhua Group Corporation, China; Brenda Dietrich, Vice President of Business Analytics and Mathematical Sciences at IBM, the United States; Darrell Duffie, Distinguished Professor of Finance at Stanford University, the United States; and Avishai Mandelbaum, Chaired Professor of O.R., Statistics and Service Engineering at Technion, Israel.

Executive Forum: Expanded Program for VP- and C-Level Executives

This expanded program provides decision makers with a bottom-line understanding of how business analytics and O.R. are used to drive better organizational decisions. In addition to a special networking reception hosted by the INFORMS Board of Directors and an executive-level panel discussion, this year's Forum will add a new component: an exclusive, interactive, small-group event in a "speed-dating" format that provides participants with advice from business executives who successfully operate analytics programs. For Junior Faculty and Young Industry Practitioners: Nomination Deadline March 1

Nominate a junior faculty member or young industry practitioner for the Young Researcher Connection. This select program is open to researchers who completed a PhD no earlier than 2006. Recommend a practice-oriented master's or PhD student for the Professional Colloquium, an intensive, full-day career workshop.
