In Memoriam, Paul Gray

INFORMS lost a warm, longstanding friend on May 10 when former TIMS President Paul Gray
passed away at age 81 following injuries sustained during a car accident. A leader both in TIMS and INFORMS, he most recently served as series editor of the INFORMS book series, Tutorials in Operations Research. A pioneer in information systems, he is recognized for his early research and papers in the fields of crime in transportation, telecommuting, and group decision-support systems. He is deeply missed by the INFORMS board, staff, membership, and all those he touched during his many active years of service.
