Kilts-Nielsen Data Center Offers Panel Data

Access to Nielsen consumer panel data from the Kilts-Nielsen Data Center can support your research agendas in the areas of marketing, economics, public policy, and more. These data are provided through a new arrangement with Nielsen and the Kilts Center for Marketing at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. All tenure-track faculty and Ph.D. students from accredited U.S. colleges and universities can apply for data access.

The first available dataset, Consumer Panel Data, includes information on product purchases made by a panel of 40,000-60,000 households across all retail outlets, in all U.S. markets, and all Nielsen-tracked categories (including food, nonfood grocery items, health and beauty aids, and select general merchandise).

The Kilts-Nielsen Data Center is now accepting proposals online. Read the press release.
