Martonosi Wins MAA Teaching Award

Congratulations to Susan Martonosi of Harvey Mudd College! Susan was awarded the 2012 Henry L. Alder Award for Distinguished Teaching from the Mathematical Association of America at this summer's 2012 MAA MathFest. She was recognized for her passion for teaching probability, statistics, and O.R. - a passion that revitalized student interest at the college. Her work was cited for its influence on teaching O.R. at the undergraduate level and for influencing undergraduate O.R. education nationwide.
