Q. How can students interested in operations research find out more?
A. One excellent way is to look over a copy of one of the many journals published by INFORMS.
We highly recommend Interfaces, which offers information on "real world" applications of operations research in commerce, industry, government, and education, and OR/MS Today news magazine, which provides breaking stories on significant new developments and trends in our field.

By attending one of these, you'll have the opportunity to hear speakers and meet practitioners in diverse fields, chat with them about their work, pursue your interests in greater depth, and get a better idea about whether management science is the career for you.
