Getting to Santa Fe
Air Transportation
Santa Fe is located approximately 60 miles north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Albuquerque is served by all major US carriers, via the Albuquerque International Sunport. The airport code for the Sunport is ABQ. Direct flights to Santa Fe are available, but are far less frequent. For more information on the Santa Fe Municipal Airport, please visit: http://www.santafenm.gov/index.aspx?NID=171
Ground Transportation
The most straightforward / fastest way to get to Santa Fe from the Sunport is via rental car. All major US rental car companies serve the Sunport, and an integrated rental facility is located less than 5 minutes from the main, via a courtesy shuttle. More information on the rental companies operating out of the Sunport can be found here: http://www.cabq.gov/airport/parking/car-rental.
There are also two shuttle services operating between the Sunport and Santa Fe: Sandia Shuttle Express and Roadrunner Shuttle Services. Contact information for these services is as follows:
Sandia Shuttle Express
(505) 242-0302 or (888) 775-5696 (toll free)
Roadrunner Shuttle Services
(505) 424-3367
Another possibility is the New Mexico Rail Runner, which provides connections from downtown Albuquerque to within a few hundred yards of the conference hotel in Santa Fe. This will require a taxi between the Sunport and the main train station in downtown Albuquerque.
