Tourist Attractions: Santa Fe

Santa Fe is a major tourist destination in the US, offering a truly diverse array of activities. In particular, Santa Fe is known for its art galleries and museums (ranked #1 Most Artistic City by The Atlantic), spas (ranked #1 Spa and Relaxation Destination by Trip Advisor), unique dining, cultural activities, and outdoor activities. Most recently, it was ranked as the #1 Top Place to Visit in 2012 by the Los Angeles Times. The range of activities is well beyond the scope of this web page. Thus, we defer to the official Santa Fe Convention and Visitors web site.

Close to Santa Fe are a few additional attractions of note, including:

  • The Bandelier National Monument, providing excellent opportunities to see petroglpyhs, cliff dwellings, and other Native American artifacts and structures.
  • The town of Los Alamos, home of the Manhattan Project and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Los Alamos is home to Bradbury Science Museum, operated by Los Alamos National Laboratory.
