Call For Nominations: 2012 ENRE Best Publication Awards
The ENRE Best Publication Awards are given annually to the best refereed journal articles. This year we have three areas: (1) Energy; (2) Natural Resources; (3) Environment. We consider papers published two calendar years prior to the year in which the award is given. For the 2012 awards, articles that were published during the calendar years 2008 - 2010 can be nominated (unless the paper has already won an ENRE award).
Membership during the year of the nomination will be a requirement for the nominator. Membership for the nominee will not be a requirement. The award will be presented at the INFORMS Annual Meeting of 2012.
Nominations will be received until June 30, 2012. Nominated publications will be judged by separate three-member committees for each area (Energy, Natural Resources, Environment) with respect to impact and originality. The award will consist of a plaque. The nomination process consists of sending of a nomination package containing:
- An email that will include information on the nominator, nominee, full reference of the article, and the area of nomination: Energy, Natural Resources, or Environment
- A copy of the article written in English
The nominations should be sent to:
- Energy: A. J. Conejo antonio.conejo@uclm.es
- Natural Resources: Mikael Rönnqvist mikael.ronnqvist@gmc.ulaval.ca
- Environment: Hayri Onal h-onal@illinois.edu
Self-nominations are welcome.
