MAS uses an INFORMS-hosted list-server to alert its membership of latest news and opportunies of interest to MAS members, including election postings and nomination solicitations. Once subscribed (free signup to MAS members), MAS members can broadcast messages to the entire membership, post job offers, and start discussions.

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) is the portal for all engineering activities at the National Academies, which along with the NAE include the National Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council. Founded in 1964, the NAE provides engineering leadership in service to the nation. The NAE has more than 2,000 peer-elected members and foreign associates, senior professionals in business, academia, and government who are among the world's most accomplished engineers. They provide the leadership and expertise for numerous projects focused on the relationships between engineering, technology, and the quality of life. The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) mission is to promote the technological welfare of the nation by marshaling the knowledge and insights of eminent members of the engineering profession.
