Military Operations Research (MOR) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal for operations research and related methodologies used in important military applications. Of particular interest are papers that present case studies showing innovative OR applications, apply OR to major defense policy issues, introduce interesting new problem areas, highlight educational issues, and document the history of military OR.

Phalanx is a co-published bulletin of Military Operations Research and MAS which is available online to MAS/MORS members. The objective of Phalanx is to keep military analysts up-to-date with relevant information and articles concerning all aspects of military operations research, including developments and insights from global partners. Each volume features articles and insights by both MORS and MAS members.

BZ to Dr. William Pulleyblank, Professor of Operations Research, Department of Mathematical Sciences, USMA, for being inducted as a member of the National Academy of Engineering

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) is the portal for all engineering activities at the National Academies, which along with the NAE include the National Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council. Founded in 1964, the NAE provides engineering leadership in service to the nation. The NAE has more than 2,000 peer-elected members and foreign associates, senior professionals in business, academia, and government who are among the world's most accomplished engineers. They provide the leadership and expertise for numerous projects focused on the relationships between engineering, technology, and the quality of life. The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) mission is to promote the technological welfare of the nation by marshaling the knowledge and insights of eminent members of the engineering profession.
