2012 - Call for abstracts
Dear Members,
As cluster chair this year, I am inviting you to contribute to RAS track at INFORMS 2012 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, AZ.
In addition to the traditional sessions of Student Rail Research Competition and Problem Solving Competition, this year we have nine topics lined up as below. Please contact me and I will connect you to session chairs if you would like to present in any of the sessions, or become a panel member for the round table sessions. If you are not sure which session should you join, or have ideas beyond the listed topics, please let me know as well and I will try my best to accommodate.
List of Topics:Intermodal (Round table),PTC,Shared Corridors and Joint Facilities,Unit Train Scheduling,Use Business Analytics to Improve RR Operations,Capacity Management,Data Mining and Statistical Analysis,State-of-the-art Implementation of OR Applications (TBD), andIntermodal Applications (TBD) The deadline for abstract submission is May 15. The theme of this year’s meeting is INFORMATICS RISING, it will be nice if you can be mindful of the theme when you think of the topics to present!
