Dear Sprig Members:

May we introduce ourselves as your new Sprig Governing Council.

We have met a couple of times and are putting together what Tom Grossman has coined "Sprig 2.0." We look forward to sharing it, getting your thoughts and engaging with you as the worldwide community of spreadsheet learners, researchers, teachers and practitioners (and a few of you spreadsheet gurus).

We want to thank Tom Grossman, Janet Wagner and Jeff Keisler for their founding inspiration, work and success with Sprig 1.0. We will be honoring their achievement at the November INFORMS business meeting for Sprig. We also want to thank Melissa Forde, the INFORMS executive we are honored to work with, in helping us find our way.

We are 400 strong as a membership and we look to be 10 times that over the next 2 years. But, it is the individual value that you personally get from membership, association and participation with the Sprig community that matters. We hope and will do our best working with you to create that value.
