The mission of the Section on OR in Sports (SpORts) is to promote and disseminate research and applications among professionals interested in theory, methodologies, and applications of operations research and management science to sports problems. The Section on OR in Sports will interact with many other INFORMS Sections/Societies, interweaving research from their areas to create new ideas for analysis of sports problems.
