In addition, award winners including Professor Melissa Schilling and Professor Corey Phelps will present recent work and future directions, along with a special guest discussant, on Tuesday 11:00-12:30 in the Joint Session TMS/NPD: Technology Management Section Best Paper Winner Presentation

Over the past several months, the committee worked with the editors at Management Science in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Division and at Organization Science to create the parameters for an annual INFORMS Technology Management best paper competition. With the help of these Editors, the INFORMS Technology Management Division leadership chose a system in which the best papers for the annual competition would be narrowed down for the competition to the top-five papers by citation from five years earlier (this year 2007). The top paper and two additional finalists would then be selected by a panel of senior leaders in the field of Technology Management.
