ManTech - Senior Operations Research Analyst
The successful senior analyst shall be a subject matter expert that is highly skilled at data mining, statistical analysis, causal analysis, and geo-spatial analysis. The analyst shall be responsible for integrating multiple disciplines in an operations research team and translate applicable methods into language and application understandable by operational commanders who are in a current theater of operations. The senior analyst will review and provide quality control methods on products produced for the government. The senior analyst shall have a minimum of a MS in Operations Research or mathematically rigorous program with at least 10 years of hands on experience in a variety operations analysis functions and at least 2 years of applied operations research experience dealing with C-IED efforts in a current theater of operations. The senior analyst shall have completed a military career of service and will preferably have military experience in a combat environment. The analyst shall have experience advising senior DOD decision makers having applied operations research methodologies.
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine - Software Engineer
The software engineer will apply data mining, processing, and analytics, software development and computer programming skills to several projects in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The software engineer must have a strong programming skill set which spans data processing, analysis of large data sets, statistical programming and software analysis, design, development and testing. The software engineer will be expected to work independently to translate research models and algorithms that use health information gathered from multiple clinical information systems to software tools capable for use in clinical practice. They will also be responsible for creating and integrating large databases comprised of health information and applying analytical methods to this data.
URS Corporation - Senior Analyst
URS Corporation is seeking a senior analyst for a group of multi-disciplined analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts in support of the Department of Homeland Security. Analyze and research material to gain a thorough technical understanding of the aviation pathways into the United States. Task assignments may include one or more of the following analysis: economic analysis; regulatory analysis; safety and risk analysis; and system operation performance analysis. Prepare oral presentations and written reports indicating a solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single solution. Ability to develop relational and spatial databases to support data analysis and display is required. Knowledge of domestic and international airport operations for scheduled passenger, cargo, and general aviation is essential. Knowledge of radiation detection technologies and systems and familiarity with national and international aviation data sources and modeling experience is desired. The analysis will support efforts to prioritize the application of technical and non-technical solutions which will lead to a balanced advancement of the aviation architecture.
