8th Annual INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Section Conference, Montreal 2008

The 8th Annual INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Section Conference will be held on the campus of the University of Montreal. The event, which builds on the great success of the previous editions, is an essential forum for both practitioners and academics who want to keep on top of the latest scientific developments in the field.

Those interested in presenting at the conference should send a title and a one-page extended abstract of their proposed talk by March 30, 2008, through the conference website. A limited number of presentations will be selected after a review of the submitted abstracts by the conference scientific committee. The program will follow the format of previous revenue management conferences in order to allow discussions during and after the presentations and encourage an active participation.

Montreal is the second largest french-speaking city after Paris. What it lacks in outrageously expensive hotels and restaurants, it more than makes for in little cafés, restaurants and quaint neighborhoods. End of June weather cannot be predicted with certainty but is statistically nice and warm.

The conference, co-sponsored by the Revenue Management and Pricing Section of INFORMS, HEC-Montréal, École Polytechnique-Montréal, GERAD and CIRRELT, will be held on the campus of the University of Montreal, located within walking distance of several French or ethnic (Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese, Greek, vegetarian) restaurants, and is easily accessed from the downtown area by bus, metro or car. Complimentary breakfasts lunches and coffee breaks will be available for the duration of the conference.
