Title: Sr. Operations Research Analyst

The Rainmaker Group (www.LetItRain.com), located in Alpharetta, Georgia, is a privately-owned, entrepreneurial company. Our leading software solutions and consulting services are used by many of the biggest names in both the gaming-hospitality and multi-family housing industries. We are currently seeking a Sr. Operations Research Analyst to expand our talented and accomplished Operations Research team.

Fundamental Requirements

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Work with business consultants to understand and capture business requirements
• Perform statistical data analysis and build forecasting and optimization models
• Communicate the results efficiently to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Direct and verify implementation of mathematical procedures
• Support customers with business and/or technical questions

Required Skills / Education:

• A Master Degree is required in one of the following disciplines: Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields. A PhD Degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of modeling and implementation work experience in Pricing and Revenue Management are highly desirable
• Familiar with one or more of statistical and optimization packages such as CPLEX, SAS, SPSS, S-plus/R, etc
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, .Net, SQL and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
• Previous experience in software industry is a big plus
• Local candidates are preferred
