I am a 4th year PhD student at the MIT Operations Research Center, planning to graduate in 2 years. I know currently my options for volunteering are limited due to my student status. I am interested in helping to organize meetings and community events, but am not sure of the specific opportunities for students at this time. I am also interested in helping to edit OR/MS Tomorrow. I would be curious to learn more about what would be involved in this publication, or other publications that I could help with at this time. My specific areas of interest include supply chain, transportation and logistics, sports, and public sector applications. I organized a golf session at this past OR conference in San Diego.
