The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) is the largest professional society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research (O.R.).  It was established in 1995 with the merger of the Operations Research Society of America (ORSA) and The Institute of Management Sciences (TIMS).

 Call for Nominations: Editor-in-Chief of Mathematics of Operations Research
Based on recommendations from the INFORMS Board of Directors, the President of INFORMS has appointed a committee to conduct a search for a new editor-in-chief of Mathematics of Operations Research. All members of INFORMS and the Mathematics of Operations Research community are invited to participate in this process.
