INFORMS News: CIST 2012

The INFORMS Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST 2012) will be held Oct. 13-14, in Phoenix, Ariz., in conjunction with the INFORMS Annual Meeting. The theme of the conference is “Digital Society.” Consumerization of IT and the rapid proliferation of digital products and services present a great opportunity for IS researchers to contribute in a significant way toward understanding and shaping the Digital Society. The conference will feature panels, keynote speakers and research papers that explore strategic, research and policy issues at the consumer, enterprise and societal levels.

CIST organizers invite original research in all areas of information systems and related fields that seek to address a broad range of issues related to the conference theme with novel ideas, methodologies and findings. The deadline for submissions is June 8.

Hemant Bhargava, Abhay Nath Mishra, Raghu T. Santanam and Param Vir Singh are co-chairs of CIST 2012.
