Oklahoma State University Student Chapter
About the Community
The Oklahoma State University Student Chapter is active.
The purpose of this student chapter is to encourage interest in the field of operations research/management science, and inspire students to make significant research contributions to this field. The chapter encourages interaction between students interested in OR/MS from the School of Industrial Engineering and Management, the College of Business, and the Department of Computer Science.
Awards: The Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award is given each semester, after a careful feedback and review process involving students and faculty members.
Benefits: The chapter organizes 4-6 brown bag seminars every semester, and invites graduate students and faculty to speak on their research and other topics of contemporary interest. The chapter also conducts several social meetings every semester to increase interaction among students and encourage membership.
