About the Community
The University of Illinois-Chicago Student Chapter is active.
The chapter provides an extension of our national chapter mission by enabling a supportive network of fellow students and concerned faculty. It is INFORMS' goal to help students learn more about their field and also to prepare them for their careers. The organization offers weekly meetings with cooperate speakers discussing the current trends in our diverse field and career opportunities offered at their companies. These meetings provide an opportunity to get information, while ultimately allowing students to network with possible future employers.
Meetings: 5-6 meetings per semester. Board meetings – 1; team meetings – 4-5
Meeting Location: On campus
Career Fairs: Twice a year
