About the Community
The University of Pittsburgh Student Chapter is active.
The chapter is a student organization which was established to promote, enhance, and further the welfare of all students interested in Operations Research and Management Science. The purpose of the Organization is the represent the interests of such students by providing networking and social events as well as opportunities to attend guest lectures on Operations Research and Management Science. The Organization will also serve as a liaison between the university chapter and the national organization, Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS).
Benefits: Academic events such as technical seminars, networking opportunities, social gatherings, orientation for new students
Meetings: The officers meet once a month in the available offices of Industrial Engineering Department
