University of Texas-Austin Student Chapter
About the Community
The University of Texas-Austin Student Chapter is active.
The purpose of this student chapter is to encourage interest in the field of operations research and management sciences. This is accomplished by encouraging discussion and interaction among individuals with these interests, providing a forum for speakers from academia and industry, and helping members with employment issues.
Benefits: Offers many activities each semester including speakers, social activities, field trips, meetings, student presentations, and community service projects. Maintains active relationship with annual INFORMS and the Austin chapter of INFORMS.

Meetings: Chapters meet three times per semester; officers meet twice per month
