ISR is a leading international journal of theory, research, and intellectual development focused on information systems in organizations, institutions, the economy, and society.

Information Systems Research Awards for 2008
Beginning 2007, Information Systems Research has initiated awards for the best published paper and outstanding performance by reviewers and associate editors. The selections for the awards were made through nominations by the board members and finalized through discussions between the Senior Editors and the Editor-in-Chief. The awards were presented at the Conference on Information Systems and Technology held in Washington D.C. in October, 2008. The winners of the different awards are as follows.
