Patrick Noonan
Patrick Noonan is an Associate Professor in the Practice of Decision & Information Analysis at Emory's Goizueta Business School, where he also served as Assistant Dean for MBA Programs from 1996-2000. Previously he was on the faculty of the Harvard Business School. Patrick received his Ph.D. (Decision Sciences) from Harvard University, and his MBA and B.S. (Engineering & Applied Science) from Yale. His other professional experience also includes management consulting (at McKinsey & Company and as a co-founder of the Planning Technologies Group), non-profit management and music production. Patrick's research interests include decision support platforms for e-commerce, strategic decision making, and the language of uncertainty. He teaches decision analysis, data analysis, game theory, and other decision modeling topics at the MBA level, plus executive education and consulting for such companies as Microsoft, SmithKline, and News Corp. Patrick has received teaching awards at Emory every year, and he has led workshops across the country on case teaching, discussion leadership and other interactive techniques for OR/MS education.
