Robert Carraway
Robert L. Carraway is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, where he has been on the faculty since 1984. He received his Ph.D. from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and his MBA and BS in mathematics from East Carolina University. He teaches quantitative methods and strategic decision analysis in Darden's MBA and executive programs. Robert has published in the leading quantitatively-oriented academic business journals including Management Science, Operations Research, Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, and Decision Sciences as well as more practitioner-oriented outlets, such as Interfaces.
His current research interests include the application of management science methodologies and techniques, involving both decision analysis and optimization, to a wide variety of management issues, including risk analysis, logistics, and strategy. He has also done work in the area of multiobjective decision making. Robert has consulted widely in the area of applied management science. International experience includes work in both Latin America and Europe.
