Keith Willoughby
Keith A. Willoughby is a Hanlon Scholar in International Business and an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance and Management Science at the University of Saskatchewan's Edwards School of Business. He received his PhD in Operations Management from the University of Calgary in 1999 and was a faculty member in the Department of Management at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA from 1999–2005.
His industry experience includes employment as a transportation analyst with the Vancouver (British Columbia) Regional Transit System. Moreover, from 2005–2008, he worked as a Senior Operations Research Specialist with the Health Quality Council (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), an independent agency that reports on the quality of health care in the province and collaborates with partners in system improvement efforts. He is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Lean/Six Sigma black belt.
Keith’s published scholarship involves the application of analytical models in health care, transportation, logistics, materials management and sports. His teaching interests include production and operations management, business forecasting, operations research/management science and statistics.
