For your convenience we make available the PDF version of the originally published in ITORMS in HTML styles

Arthur M. Geoffrion

December, 1996

FOREWORD

This document is updated periodically as a service to the Structured Modeling research community. Previous editions were dated 11/86, 7/87, 1/88, 8/88, 2/89, 11/89, 8/90, 9/91, 8/92, 2/94.

The criterion for including a paper in this bibliography is that it contains substantial Structured Modeling content. Thus, numerous reports and published papers which cite and briefly comment on Structured Modeling are omitted.

The citations are formal, but the annotations are deliberately informal. The comments are those of the author except in the few cases noted.

Important Note:

An on-line, companion narrative guide to the Structured Modeling literature is available for those who would like some guidance from the point of view of recent research and current research opportunities. It is an updated version of my paper "Structured Modeling: Survey and Future Research Directions,"ORSA CSTS Newsletter,15:1 (Spring, 1994). The citation callouts in that guide are links back to the present bibliography.

Additions, corrections, and suggestions for improvement are most welcome.
