Review Process Results

The following are the possible decisions that could be rendered as a result of the review process:

  • Accept: The paper is ready to be published 'As Is.'
  • Conditional Accept: The paper is acceptable subject to minor modifications that will be overseen by the Associate Editor and Editor-In-Chief only.
  • Minor Revision: A favorable outcome is likely if the modifications that are described are made. The paper will go out to the review team to assess the changes that are made.
  • Major Revision: While the paper has significant merit, due to the extensive nature of the revisions described, it is highly uncertain as to whether the paper will have a favorable outcome.
  • Reject & Resubmit: In its current form, the paper is unacceptable for publication. However, a paper that is revised along the lines suggested would be considered for resubmission as the topic is of considerable interest.
  • Reject: The paper is unacceptable in its current form for publication and is unlikely to reach an acceptable level in anumber of review rounds.
