Organization Science Editorial Review
Daniel Levinthal will complete his first three-year term as Organization Science editor-in-chief at the end of 2012. Consistent with INFORMS policies and procedures, the president of INFORMS has appointed a committee to conduct a strategic review of the journal. The committee members are Jesper Sørensen, Stanford University (committee chair); Christine Beckman, University of California at Irvine; Karim Lakhani, Harvard Business School (liaison from the INFORMS Publications Committee); Jeffrey Polzer, Harvard Business School; and Wanda Orlikowski, MIT Sloan. Since its founding, the journal has grown and evolved in many important ways to become one of the premier international journals in management and organization theory. The goals of this strategic review are to understand the state of the journal; to identify new issues, new challenges, and new ideas; and to listen to the journal’s customers. Input from all INFORMS members is welcome and may be sent to Jesper Sørensen, committee chair, at sorensen@stanford.edu by June 15, 2012.
