Working paper policy

As a condition of final acceptance of a paper for publication in Organization Science, the author must indicate whether the paper is posted on a working paper website, other than the author’s own site. The author is responsible for assuring that if any part of the paper has been copyrighted for prepublication as a working paper, the copyright can and will be transferred to INFORMS when the paper is accepted. This includes both print and electronic forms of the paper. The author may post the working paper on websites after acceptance and prior to publication, as long as the sites are not copyrighted or do not serve as formal repositories.

Copyright transfer

The author is required to transfer copyright (access Copyright Transfer Forms) of his or her paper to INFORMS but reserves the right to use all or part of the paper in future works he or she may write or edit (e.g., textbooks, reviews, and lectures) and to obtain a copyright assignment from INFORMS without fee for such purposes.
