Erlang Prize Application Process
*** The deadline for nominations for the 2012 APS Erlang Prize has been extended to July 31,2012***
Briefly, the rules are as follows:
- eligible are researchers not more than 9 years beyond receiving a PhD degree (a candidate who received his or her first PhD or an equivalent degree anytime in year X is eligible for the award through year X + 9)
- nominations can be made by anyone,
- nominations consist of a description of the significance of the nominee's work and supporting documents,
- nominations should be sent to each member of the Awards Committee at the addresses listed below by July 15th, 2012 (nominations will be held in confidence), and
- decisions of the Awards Committee are final.
