Erlang Prize Application Process

*** The deadline for nominations for the 2012 APS Erlang Prize has been extended to July 31,2012***

Briefly, the rules are as follows:

  1. eligible are researchers not more than 9 years beyond receiving a PhD degree (a candidate who received his or her first PhD or an equivalent degree anytime in year X is eligible for the award through year X + 9)
  2. nominations can be made by anyone,
  3. nominations consist of a description of the significance of the nominee's work and supporting documents,
  4. nominations should be sent to each member of the Awards Committee at the addresses listed below by July 15th, 2012 (nominations will be held in confidence), and
  5. decisions of the Awards Committee are final.
