Best Publication Award Application Process
The nomination process consists of sending a nomination package to the Committee Chair containing:
- A nomination form that will include information on the nominator, nominee, and full reference of the article
- A copy of the article written in English
There are two ways of nominating an article for the award:
- Self-nomination: One of the authors, who should be member of the ENRE subdivision at the year of the nomination, nominates his/her published article. It is acceptable that the work has been published with other authors who are not member of ENRE
- Work nominated by others: A member of the ENRE subdivision at the year of the nomination nominates an article for the award
The two panels of three ENRE members each will be formed every year by requesting volunteers and nominations. The elected officers of ENRE will have the responsibility of selecting the judges.
Consistent with the INFORMS conflict of interest policy, papers written by INFORMS ENRE officers or the competition judges, or by their students will not be considered.
The deadline for submission published during 2008 is Friday, May 7, 2010. Please submit your nomination in electronic format to the 2010 Committee Chair.
