Optimization Prize for Young Researchers -- Application Process

Eligibility

The author(s) and the work must satisfy the following conditions to be eligible for the prize:

  • The paper must be published in, or submitted to and accepted by, a refereed professional journal during the four calendar years preceding the year of the award.
  • All authors must have been awarded their terminal degree within the eight calendar years preceding the year of award.
  • The topic of the paper must belong to the field of optimization in its broadest sense.
  • The prize may be awarded once in a lifetime to any individual.

Nomination Process

Nominations should be submitted to the Chair of the committee, Endre Boros, by email at Endre.Boros@rutcor.rutgers.edu on or before June 30, 2012. The prize committee is composed of:
