Lifetime Achievement in Location Analysis Award -- Application Process

Nominees should have a distinguished record in locational analysis over an extended period of time. The committee will consider all contributions to the field of locational analysis. While research will carry the most significant weight (and will be assessed using multiple dimensions - number and significance of papers, book chapters, books, PhD students, etc.), contributions to teaching (text books, teaching-related articles, teaching workshops, etc.), and to service (special issues edited, conferences organized, etc.) will be taken into account as well.

A nomination will consist of a recent CV of the nominee and a nominating letter from the nominator that highlights the most relevant and significant accomplishments. All nominations should be sent to the committee chair as an e-mail attachment with the subject line LALA 2008. The nomination deadline is April 15, 2008.
