Georgia Institute of Technology
Citation:

Extraordinary Leadership and Service in the INFORMS TMS Community

Purpose of the Award

The TMS Distinguished Service Award is created to recognize individuals whose distinguished service to TMS has helped to advance significantly the goals and objectives of the Section. The award is given occasionally (not every year), usually to a member of TMS. At the discretion of the Award Committee, it may be given to a group of individuals (at least one of whom belongs to TMS) who have worked jointly on a common project (in which case the prize money is divided among the group). Elected TMS officers are ineligible for the award during their terms of office. A plaque will be presented during the INFORMS national meeting.
