Winning material: Large-Scale Mixed Integer Optimization Approaches for Scheduling Airline Operations under Irregularity

Purpose of the Award

This is the oldest and most prestigious honor for doctoral dissertations in the transportation science and logistics area. Eligible doctoral dissertations are those completed and submitted June 1 of the year previous to the award and May 31 in the award year, in the general area of transportation science and logistics. The award is accompanied by a $500 honorarium. In addition, the winner and the recipient of an honorable mention (if any) each receives a commemorative plaque.
