Workshop & Presentation on
Global Optimization

Trinity University & INFORS are honored to sponsor a half day Workshop & presentation by Dr. Janos Pinter on global optimization

In addition he will review and critique solvers such as

LGO Integrated Development Environment for Windows
Excel / LGO solver engine (as well as other Excel PSP solvers)
GAMS / LGO solver engine (as well as other GAMS solvers)
MathOptimizer for Mathematica (as well as other Mathematica solvers)
and possibly some others (further work in progress).

Dr Pintér plans to make this an interactive event. He will bring actual case studies to present and encourages us to bring with us a range of scientific, engineering, and economic challenges to discuss and apply theory to real world problems today.
